Getting Started

We recommend you familiarise yourself with the platform by watching our introductory videos.

Technical Requirements 

In order to complete the virtual course successfully, you will need:

  • a laptop or PC (a tablet will also work but a laptop or PC is preferred)
  • suitable internet bandwidth
  • a PDF reader installed on your device
  • headphones (especially if there are multiple people in the room)
  • multiple monitors if possible (not mandatory)
  • access to Zoom (please check with your IT team if accessing at work)
  • copies of the relevant standard (if applicable) – we will have couriered/posted these to you ahead of time.

Access Issues – FAQs

Q. I didn’t receive my login information to the platform. What should I do?

A. Check your spam or junk folder. The email sender is Hello (hello@risktrainingprofessionals.com) and the subject is “Welcome to your virtual training”. If you can still not find the email, please contact us at hello@risktrainingprofessionals.com

Q. I cannot access the classroom on my browser. What should I do?

A. You may experience problems with using a browser other than Google Chrome. Our course runs best on Google Chrome, you can download this browser here prior to your session. You will require a PDF reader installed on your device to be able to complete the coursework successfully.

Q: What is my username and password?

A: Your username is your first and last name altogether in lowercase.  For example, John Smith’s username would be johnsmith You have a temporary password, which you will be prompted to change on your first log in: Welcome123!


Platform Questions – FAQs

Q. How do I access the training platform?

A. Click on the Access Training Platform link. Your username is your first and last name all together in lower case eg John Smith will be johnsmith. Your temporary password to access the platform is Welcome123! You will be prompted to change this password once you login for the first time. 

We suggest you login ahead of time to ensure you have no access issues.

Once you are logged in, select your course name under Current Learning. 

Q. I can’t find the classroom meeting. Where is it?

A. When you open your platform email access link, you’ll see a link that reads Click here for the Zoom link for your training session – click here to be taken to the Zoom meeting where you’ll engage with your trainer and peers.   

You can also access the link to the Zoom meeting once you have logged into the virtual training platform and selected your course name under Current Learning. You will be able to access the link under 1) To get started click on the Zoom link below. 

Q. Where do I access the virtual coursebook?

A. Once you have selected your course under Current Learning, you can access the virtual coursebook under 2) Click on the link below to open the virtual coursebook

If you are enrolled in a course that is delivered over multiple days, you will need to log in via this system at the start of each day to access the virtual coursebook.

Pop Up Blockers

The quiz components of your virtual training will be delivered through our learning management system. You can access the quizzes via the link provided in your coursebook.

If the quiz does not launch after you click the link, please check if your pop-up blocker is disabled. Below are some steps to assist you in turning off the pop-up blocker if needed.

Microsoft Edge:

Take the following steps to disable pop-up blockers:

  1. Click Tools or the gear icon.
  2. Click Internet options.
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Uncheck Turn on Pop-up Blocker.
  5. Click OK.

Google Chrome:

Take the following steps to disable pop-up blockers:

  1. Click the Chrome menu button.
    Note: The button is on the upper-right of the browser and is indicated by three dots.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Privacy and security, click Site settings.
  4. Click Pop-ups and redirects.
  5. Click Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects.
