FAQs about Integrated Management Systems (IMS)

What is an Integrated Management System (IMS)?

An Integrated Management System (IMS) combines multiple management systems into one cohesive framework, enabling organisations to streamline their internal processes and reduce duplication. Commonly integrated systems include Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management Systems.

What is the goal of IMS training?

Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor Training is important for professionals who are responsible for auditing integrated management systems. This training equips auditors with the skills and knowledge to perform effective audits across multiple disciplines, including Quality, Environmental, and OH&S Management Systems.

What topics are covered in the Lead Auditor Training course?

The course covers comprehensive modules on management systems auditing, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and OH&S Management Systems. All of our participants will learn about the principles and procedures of auditing, the roles and responsibilities of an audit team, and how to prepare and distribute an audit report. The aim of our lead auditor course is to prepare our students with all of the auditing skills necessary to provide quality internal audits and external audits. We also aim to provide feedback on the personal and interpersonal skills required for the eventual role.

“The virtual classroom coupled with an enthusiastic trainer made the course easy to run through and as good as any face to face courses I have ever attended.”

It was evident that the trainer had significant industry related experience in auditing. They were able to reinforce learnings and keep us interested by integrating their experiences into the course with relevant and engaging real world examples.

Course was enjoyable and I like the fact that we’re given a copy of the each of the Standards!

Honestly thought it was gonna be boring. I was very wrong! Very engaging and informative. Loved all 5 days and will be back for more courses!

Really enjoyed the training. What could be a very stale topic was delivered in a very engaging and detailed way. I particularly enjoyed the conversational delivery of the content and the practical activities were challenging and well presented. The catering was great too.
