Nationally recognised training in Australia refers to vocational education and training (VET) that is formally recognised across all states and territories. It is delivered by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and meets the standards set by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

The AQF is a national policy that ensures consistency and quality in education and training qualifications across Australia. Qualifications that are nationally recognised include Certificates I–IV, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, and other accredited courses. These qualifications are listed on training.gov.au and are identified by the Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo.

Risk Training Professionals is an RTO (RTO code 46389), and can deliver the following nationally recognised units of competency:

  • BSBSS00128 Lead Auditor Skill Set, consisting of
    • BSBAUD411 Participate in quality audits
    • BSBAUD511 Initiate quality audits
    • BSBAUD512 Lead quality audits
    • BSBAUD513 Report on quality audits
  • BSBOPS504 Manage business risk
  • BSBOPS407X Support organisational response to disruption

While we endeavour to make your experience with RTP pleasurable and rewarding, if you feel you have been unfairly treated, or improperly assessed for the competency which you have studied we do have a complaints and appeals policy and procedure.

Firstly, please speak to your facilitator. If you are required to be reassessed, that can be arranged at no additional expense to you, the client. Further, if you are still deemed not yet competent, we can arrange for you to attend a second public training course, also at no additional cost.

If this is not suitable or for non-training related concerns, please contact in writing Tom Barham, Director of Training, at tom.barham@risktrainingprofessionals.com. We will formalise the concern and respond to you in writing. Please refer to our Complaints and Appeals Policy and Procedure

Exemplar Global are a global organization that certifies both individuals and training providers. Exemplar Global personnel certification includes auditors, engineers, technicians and consultants. Training providers are third party certified for the courses they deliver.

Exemplar Global was previously two organizations, RABQSA International and iNARTE.

If you are seeking recognition of your knowledge, skills and qualifications Exemplar Global offers personal certification. Personal certification is often a prerequisite to employment for the auditing and inspection industries and provides assurance to employers and customers that you have the necessary knowledge, skills, attributes and experience and can provide value to their organisation.

Personal certification as an Auditor or a Lead Auditor is for those people who want to have their knowledge and skills as auditors recognised at a higher level.

Typically, this is for people who are conducting audits for, or on behalf of,

  • A third-party organisation, such as a certification body
  • A government regulator
  • A professional services firm
  • A consultancy performing audits or inspections

Once you have completed your studies with us, you will be able to register as a provisional auditor with Exemplar Global. Contact us on 1300 95 96 92 for more information.

Certificates

The internationally recognised competency units remain current as long as the international standard they align with remains unchanged. This is normally for around 7 or so years. When an international standard gets updated, a short transition course is developed to ensure people remain competent.

If you wish to register with Exemplar Global as a certified auditor and it has been more than two years since you have gained your auditing competency units, Exemplar Global will simply ask you to complete a short exam for you to demonstrate your competency.

Certificates are issued promptly upon completion of the course (providing relevant assessment items and full payment has been received). They are emailed and physical copies (if requested) are posted via Australia Post. Postage times will vary depending on your location.

Yes, although the type of certificate you receive will vary depending on the course that you complete.

If you complete one of our internationally-recognised Exemplar Global courses, you will receive a Certificate of Attainment indicating the competency units you have completed.

If you complete one of our nationally-recognised training courses and the associated assessment items, you will receive a Statement of Attainment that indicates which units of competency you have successfully completed.

If you attend one of our non-accredited courses, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance or Certificate of Completion.

Most certificates (excluding eLearn Certificates of Completion) come as digital credentials issued through DiplomaSafe. They include a unique digital signature, making it secure and impossible to forge. This digital certificate process ensures our certification approach is modern, secure, and adds real value to our learners’ professional profiles.

Payments

You can pay via bank transfer and credit card. Your invoice for your training will include all available payment options.

Course Cancellations and Transfers

Definitely not. Once we have scheduled a course – it runs. We recognise that people lead busy lives and need certainty with their bookings. Once you have enrolled, we guarantee that the course will run.

You have three options available – you can either transfer your enrolment to a more suitable date, send another attendee along in your place, or cancel your enrolment. There may be fees involved with a cancelled enrolment, and you will be informed of these and the situations in which they may occur at the time of enrolment.
