Risk Identification

Day 2 – Tuesday 

Risk control and treatment

• Control and treatment design
• Risk treatment plans
• Control implementation.

Stakeholder management

• Communication within the risk management framework
• Roles and responsibilities within risk management
• Supporting risk management within the organisation.

Monitoring and reporting risk

• Monitoring tools
• Indicators of effective risk management
• Data-driven reporting.

Upon successful completion of the course and completed exam, you will receive a Statement of Attainment with the following nationally recognised unit of competency:

• BSBOPS504 Manage business risks

Nationally Recognised Training assessment components are to be completed within 3 months. 

There are no prerequisites for this course.

A progressive series of workshops are embedded into this course to demonstrate the application of risk management theory and principles, each building upon the previous learning outcome.

The structure of the workshop will aid your understanding, providing the opportunity to ask questions and partake in group discussions.

To complete the Nationally Recognised Training unit of competency, you will be required to submit your workbook, recording your completed work from each workshop, which will then be assessed to confirm your understanding of the course material. Completion of an additional exam also is required to be completed following the training. 

Nationally Recognised Training assessment components are to be completed within 3 months.

• Have limited to moderate experience in risk management and want to build confidence in applying risk frameworks consistently

No prior experience in risk management is required.
